WADI Tiwi
Wadi Tiwi is in the Al Sharqiyah region, adjacent to Wadi Shab. Named after Tiwi Village, the Wadi is as close to a rainforest as you can get in the Gulf. Emerald pools, old villages and lush green plantations make this a memorable experience. Explore the canyons and water pools which lead to the Mibam village. Swim, hike and enjoy one of the most beautiful Wadi’s Oman has to offer.
Husaak runs a day trip to Wadi Tiwi every Sunday from our Adventure Centre in Muscat. The trip includes transport, snacks, water, a packed lunch and BBQ dinner in the Wadi or at a local beach.
The Falls of Tiwi WEEKEND TRIP
This impressive Wadi feels like a scene in Jurassic Park, could a dinosaur be found around the corner?
As with all Husaak’s Weekend Camping Trips, we start off on Thursday afternoon and the first night camp is high up in the clouds on the majestic Salmah Plateau. On Friday, the team will head down to the Wadi and start the hike after a hot breakfast. The Wadi walk takes around 4-5 hours depending on the speed of the team and ends by the village where you will be treated to the stunning view of 3 impressive waterfalls.
At night the team will head to Ras Al Hadd where they will meet Fayel the turtle man. This is a popular turtle nesting site and even though chances of seeing turtles lay eggs are highest in the summer, there have been multiple sightings in the winter months too. In the morning you get to hop onto a boat for a quick ride into the ocean and the chance to swim alongside these beautiful turtles.

Wadi Tiwi DAy trip
Husaak’s Day Trip to Wadi Tiwi runs every Sunday. Drive to the starting point and begin this magical journey through water pools to reach Wadi Tiwi and the waterfall cave.
Departs: Sundays 8 AM | Returns Sunday 6 PM
Meeting and drop-off Point: Husaak Center Muscat
Difficulty Level: Easy to Medium (depending on your fitness level)
Danger Level: Safe, but you need to know how to swim.
