This extreme adventure trip takes you to one of the wadis that was under the sea until as recently as 300 years ago. Erosion had not yet taken place and hence, on this journey you will feel like you are walking on the ocean floor. The ocean floor adventure requires about 10-12 hours of canyoning, hiking and abseiling and is considered extremely challenging. The trip starts with an approximately 2.5 km long hike until we reach the first abseiling point. There will be several other points at which you will need to abseil to make your way into the canyon.

With huge dramatic boulders towering over and surrounding you, the ocean floor will make you feel like you are in a movie scene. The adventure will test your climbing abilities and stamina and our guides will teach you how to use various equipment and give you all the knowledge you will need to make your way to the bottom of the ocean.

The first day is an early start as you wake up, make breakfast and set off on 30-minute drive to to the point where you begin the adventure. The trip starts off with a light 20-minute walk taking you around the side of the canyon until we reach the point of entry. This is the first of many abseils required on this trip to make your way into the canyon and the abseils can be anywhere between 10-50 m long. The terrain can be challenging and muddy in some parts depending on rainfall, and while some sections will require swimming, other parts will need you to shimmy down using your back and legs. The final section is a steep path to the village, which can be very slippery so the group will need to make their way by sliding down on their backside.

Once we arrive at the village, it is most likely that you will be hiking in the dark, so make sure you are carrying a head lamp with you. The path to exit the village is extremely scenic and takes you through farms where you will see multiple fresh waterfalls emerging from behind the rocks. At the end of the adventure, the group will jump back into their vehicles, and drive back to the camp where you will enjoy a delicious dinner and relax around a camp fire.
